Witch’s Kitchen Episode 3
4 comments
Welcome to episode 3 of Witch’s Kitchen. I missed my first love of cooking it up in the kitchen and wanted to share the journey of my long-awaited return… well… perhaps not so long awaited but whatever… whose show is this anyway?
So I pin a few a recipes a week and share to my FB page, then make everyone hangry. Based on how I feel (which is totally and completely random) pick a recipe and stir things up in the kitchen.
This week I picked a lovely variation of an oldie but goodie!
Ground Beef (or Turkey) Fried Rice
The Original Recipe:
Ingredients
1.25 lb. Ground Turkey (you can use 1 lb or 1.5, my container comes with 2.5 lbs so I just split it in half)
4-5 cooked cups Jasmine Rice
5 large Eggs
1 small chopped Onion
½ c Teriyaki Sauce
Seasoned Salt – to taste
Black Pepper – to taste
Garlic Powder – to taste
Instructions
Heat your pan to medium heat
Add ground beef, onions, seasoned salt, black pepper, cook until browned
Scoot meet to one side (or in separate pan) scramble all of the eggs
Add rice and teriyaki sauce to the pan and stir everything together.
Serve and Enjoy!
This one is super quick and easy on the budget. Great for any day of the week.
If you’re a messy cook like me and wash your hands a few thousand times (before, during and after cooking) then here’s a soap suggestion for you. 😉
