Why My Routine Works (And Why It’s Not an Accident)
From the outside, my routine looks suspiciously calm.
There is no frantic layering.
There is no aggressive stripping.
There is no emotional confrontation with my hair.
That is not luck.
Sealing is something I do deliberately so moisture stays where it belongs and I don’t have to keep negotiating with my ends. It’s protection, not excess.
Clarifying is something I do respectfully, when buildup has finished its stay and is ready to leave without a scene. It’s a reset, not a consequence.
These steps are not in competition.
They are not canceling each other out.
They are simply taking turns.
When you stop treating sealing and clarifying like opposing forces and start treating them like parts of a cycle, hair care becomes less dramatic and significantly more effective.
Seal.
Live your life.
Reset when it makes sense.
That’s not a trend.
That’s choreography.
